First Colombian president 2022-2024Board member 2009-2026, the only Colombian who has served on its board.During her time on the board, she chaired the strategy committee where the strategic plan was created and managed to grow from fewer than 1,000 to more than 5,000 members, consolidating a solid executive team and resources, all thanks to hard teamwork.Although ISAPS is a society of members, not of societies, she created the first Global Forum where a consensus framework of the ISAPS Global Alliance Partners (84 societies worldwide) was built, along with a vision for Safe Aesthetic Surgery and a better quality of life for patients through collaboration and cooperation in Aesthetic Education Worldwide®.As ISAPS Aesthetic Education Worldwide®, she brought the concept of 360 education, integrating —beyond technical skills and the Business School— the Leadership Insights in Transformation (LIFT) program into a complete experience and practice for the plastic surgeon.

Its board is made up of the public and private sectors, represented by the Ministry of Health, the National Institute for Drug and Food Surveillance – INVIMA, the National Institute of Health – INS, the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, the Colombian Association of Medical Faculties – ASCOFAME and the Colombian Association of Scientific Societies – ACSC, who vote to elect its president.

Dr. Lina Triana is the medical director and owner of the Corpus y Rostrum clinic, Crece Hair Center and the Dr. Lina Triana Organization. A plastic surgeon with more than 20 years of experience, she combines an active practice in aesthetic medical and surgical procedures with a human-centered approach focused on education, patient safety and individual empowerment. A recognized speaker and author in the aesthetic field, she is also an international reference in female leadership, equity and diversity. With 18 years of experience on national and international boards —including being the first woman to preside over several of them— she leads teams toward common goals in diverse environments with strategic vision and social awareness.

Personal interests of Dr. Lina Triana

Putting the patient first, enhancing their natural beauty and inner beauty, and moving her colleagues toward common goals in the many and diverse organizations she has been involved in, is her passion. Today she wants to broaden her reach in order to create opportunities for others to discover a purpose, and to explore other related worlds where she can make a difference. Spending quality time with her husband and children, enjoying the outdoors, cooking and horseback riding are among her other passions. Although she comes from a scientific, epistemological foundation, she has a special interest in creating opportunities for others to discover their power skills and their ontological way of being.

I am a Plastic Surgeon from Universidad del Valle in Cali, with a specialization in Aesthetic Plastic Surgery in Brazil, Age Management Medicine from the Cenegenics Medical Institute, USA, and Vaginal Laser Rejuvenation and Design from the Rejuvenation Institute of America, USA.

I have more than 18 years of experience on the boards of national and international health-related organizations, having served as president and the first woman in these leadership positions, which gives me the experience to lead teams toward creating strategies in pursuit of common goals in diverse settings where other stakeholders join together toward a greater common purpose.
