In 2024, the world recorded a 4.8% reduction compared to the previous year in the total number of surgical procedures for aesthetic purposes. However, the non-surgical procedures performed last year increased by 6%. Some experts explain this phenomenon as the search for a quick change given the increased use of social media and patients’ concern about looking good in virtual media as well. The difference is growing every day: face and neck surgeries increased by 4.3%, while non-surgical procedures related to facial rejuvenation increased by 42%.
