If you look in the mirror and there is something that bothers you about your nose, a Rhinoplasty (Nose Surgery) can be a good alternative. During your assessment appointment, I will listen to you and see what bothers you, and I will discuss with you what can and cannot be achieved, so that together we can put together a surgical plan that is right for you.
With Rhinoplasty (Nose Surgery), it is possible to change the size, shape, and proportions of the nose. We usually perform this procedure under general anesthesia; however, in a prior appointment with the anesthesiologist, the best option for you will be defined. During surgery, small incisions are made inside the nose through which the nasal features are refined, as agreed upon in the pre-surgical consultation. It is very important to me to know and understand what bothers you about your nose and what you would like to improve, so as to carry out the appropriate surgical plan.
If you also have breathing problems, we can offer you a septoplasty (also called a rhinoseptoplasty) during the same surgery, for an internal and external approach to your nose within a single surgical procedure. For those who are simply not sure about having a rhinoplasty right now, we can offer a non-surgical option with hyaluronic acid that will give your nose temporary harmony.
After your surgery, you will leave with a hard plastic (Aquaplast) or the nasal splint, and its removal is done according to your progress within the two weeks following the surgery. This plastic helps reduce nasal swelling.

Rhinoplasty can be performed from the age of fifteen. If you are a healthy person and the appearance of your nose bothers you and/or you have breathing problems, you are a good candidate for this surgery.
How is rhinoplasty performed?
For rhinoplasty, local anesthesia, sedation, or general anesthesia can be chosen; the type of anesthesia is defined with the anesthesiologist during a pre-surgical consultation.
