This procedure is performed in an operating room, with a full medical team, including an anesthesiologist, circulating and instrumentation nurses, and plastic surgeon, ensuring maximum safety and comfort. Local anesthesia, sedation or general anesthesia may be used. You will have a pre-surgical consultation with the anesthesiologist to determine the most appropriate type for you.
How is recovery after a double chin surgery?
Recovery is generally quick. Some patients may experience mild swelling or irritation which typically subsides after a few days.

It is important to wear a chin strap for one month after surgery — day and night for the first 15 days, and only at night for the following 15 days to support healing.
