Am I a good candidate for Male breast reduction?

If you are bothered by excess fat, breast tissue or skin in your chest, you a may be a good candidate for Gynecomastia. After a detailed evaluation, the surgeon will determine the most effective approach.

The procedure may involve liposculpture incisions around the nipple to remove further breast tissue. In some cases further incisions may be needed to remove excess skin.

This surgery takes approximately 60 minutes performed under epidural anesthesia with sedation or general anesthesia. Incisions are made according to pre-surgical plan, either to extract fat through liposuction or to remove breast tissue and excess skin.

Most patients can resume daily activities within a few days, depending on comfort levels.. A compression vest must be worn 24 hours a day, throughout the healing phase.
