Arm Lift Surgery(Brachioplasty) | Dr. Lina Triana

The Breast reduction Arm lift surgery (Brachioplasty) removes excess skin and sagging in the upper arms, restoring firmness and improving their shape and appearance.

An arm lift , also known as a brachioplasty, is a surgical procedure designed to improve the appearance of the underside of the upper arms, creating a more toned and proportionate look.

Over time, significant weight loss leaves arms with excess skin and fat that cannot be toned up with exercise alone. People facing this problem may want to go for Brachioplasty or Arm Lift surgery to achieve a more harmonious arm shape.

Arm lift (Brachioplasty) is for you if…

You have excess skin or sagging in the inner upper arms.

You have lost a significant amount of weight  and your skin hasn’t fully regained its elasticity.

You feel self-conscious or uncomfortable wearing sleeveless clothing due to the appearance of your arms.

You want to improve the contour and firmness of your arms.

You’re ready to prioritize yourself without guilt or urgency; this change comes from within, not from a passing trend.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Arm lift (brachioplasty)
Am I a candidate for an arm lift (brachioplasty)?

People who had massive weight loss or have excess arm skin are candidates for arm lift surgery.

This surgery is typically performed under general anesthesia, depending on the recommendation made during your pre-surgical consultation with the anesthesiologist. The procedure usually includes liposculpture of the upper arms combined with incisions along the inner arm and/or armpit to remove excess skin. Surgical planning is customised during the consultation, to determine the ideal approach for each patient and in some cases, a drain may be placed for a few days. An arm lift is typically an outpatient procedure, allowing you to return home the same day.

After arm lift surgery or brachioplasty use of a compressing girdle for the arms and refraining from physical activity are recommended.
